There are times in our career as project management professionals where we could use a guiding hand.  I offer private and customized one-on-one coaching, consulting and mentoring services for those who are serious and willing to take their career to a new level.

As a hands-on, seasoned and working project management professional with an extensive and diverse business, technical, and theoretical background, I understand and know what keeps you up at night:

  • How do I break into the project management field?
  • Which methods and best practices should I be using?
  • How do I more effectively communicate and manage teams and stakeholders?
  • I’ve taken an expensive certification prep course, but I’m still not sure if I know enough to pass the exam.  I need personalized assistance, can you help?
  • I need help with developing project documentation and templates.

If questions and concerns like the ones above keep you stumped, you may need my coaching services.  My commitment is to provide you the following to the best of my abilities:

As a coach – I’ll focus and cater to your specific needs.  It will be a completely client-driven service that addresses your specific project management career needs.

As a consultant – I will act as your personal trusted adviser and provide you recommended feedback and direction for your specific questions and concerns.

As a mentor – I’ll share what I specifically did in my project management career and what I would do if I were you, so that you have a model and/or alternative to consider.

As an editor– I’ll give you substantive developmental feedback and constructive criticism on your project documents and templates.

Package Pricing:

  • 3 one-hour sessions per month with email support = $375
  • 4 one-hour sessions per month with email support = $500
  • Sign up and pay for 10 one-hour sessions in advance and get a discounted rate = $1,000 (a savings of $250)

Individual Sessions:

  • 1 one-hour session for those of you who want coaching on an “as needed” basis = $75 – $150 (includes 1 week of email follow ups and rate is determined by the type and nature of the coaching requested)

Email Only Sessions:

  • Flat $125 month (no limits)

Limitations:

  • All live sessions will be completed by telephone unless otherwise requested.
  • If review of documentation, templates or learning guides is required, a screen sharing session will be provided by Don Kim and any documents desired to be reviewed by the client needs to be sent to Don Kim prior to the session.
  • Los Angeles, CA residents who desire in person sessions will have to make accommodations for space and pay and onsite fee and travel expenses.
  • For the purpose of critique/feedback – a page is 275 words.
  • All submissions must be made in Microsoft Word 2003 and above
